| Born on 8 April 1974, Balakrishnan K. Vadivelu developed an early interest in practical engineering and manufacturing systems. After completing a Degree in Electrical & Electronics, he began his career in 1998 as a Junior Technician at an electronics company. Those formative years on the shop floor—solving real production problems, learning process discipline, and meeting delivery commitments— shaped the operator mindset that still guides him today. |
| Entrepreneurial Journey |
| In 2007, Balakrishnan founded his own business as a trader, supplying components to local manufacturers. Two years later, in 2009, he took the first step toward vertical integration by setting up a wire-harness assembly operation in a 1,500 sq ft shop lot. Customer demand and a reputation for reliable delivery led to rapid growth. |
| By 2012, the business moved to a 6,000 sq ft facility and added transformer trading (toroidal & EI) to its portfolio. Expanding capability while keeping builds predictable became a core advantage. |
| A pivotal milestone arrived in 2019: Balakrishnan acquired a 20,000 sq ft factory and brought transformer manufacturing in-house, producing EI and toroidal transformers under the company’s own brand with UL-certified production in Malaysia. At the same time, the wire-harness operation scaled from a small shop to large-volume manufacturing, supported by disciplined processes and quality documentation. |
| Global Expansion & New Capabilities |
| From 2023, Kanhseei Techk expanded its commercial footprint to the UK, Canada, and the United States, while also adding PCBA trading to better support customers’ build cycles. In 2025, the company showcased at SEMICON West (USA) and began commissioning a dedicated PCBA production line, aiming to shorten NPI lead times and provide seamless NPI → Pilot → Mass Production transitions for global OEMs. |
